Giola

From Potos:
You should take the road to the south for about 8 km after passing the hotel Aeria is on the right side of the road. In about 100 meters you will see a sign " Sirens " where you should turn right on the dirt road . After 300 meters you will find a small and beautiful beach , where you should turn left to the rough dirt road . In about 400 meters you will see a small house where you can park your car . From there to get to Giola , turn right and go down to the sea , follow the alley between the stones with painted signs .
From the Port:
Giola is located 40 km away from the port . You should follow the signs to the Makriammos , the Gold Coast , the Koinyra and then the signs to the monastery of the Archangel Michael. A few kilometers after the monastery you will see a sign " Sirens " where you should turn right on the dirt road .

Love Spring Of Panagia

Area Sources of Love is located in the village of Mary and is full of old trees spread their branches along the square and sources . Everybody who visits Panagia fail to go through the Sources of Love . There, one can find traditional cafes and taverns serving local dishes . So you drink your coffee or enjoying your food to relax , listening to the sound of running water and birds singing . The myth says that men come from all the villages of Thassos to make wishes on sources so that boys born to their families .

Maries Lake and Falls

Maries is located on the western side of the island , about 12 kilometers from Skala Maries . The best option to get there is by passing through the village of Maries near mountain Psario ( or Ipsarion ) . It is strewn only a part of the road , but nevertheless , it is the best way to get there . The Mary is one of the oldest and prettiest villages of Thassos and dating to the Middle Ages . Lake Marion which is unique on the island is two miles away and is a beautiful natural place with fish and waterfalls.
